Hello ladies
If you are on a hair journey you know how fruatrating it can be to be waiting on that hair to grow. Especially when you measure every week and not see much difference.
But patience is the key, u just have to be patience. How do I do it? I remain calm and see other girls like me who have worked hard to grow their hair and have actually successed. The above picture is such a great inspiration.
So i know this hair shall grow i can do it because I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me.
Take care
God bless.

Hair Wash Tips
Hi everyone
I am just going to share some of the methoda I use on my wash days.
Firstly I use Tresemme Keratin Shampoo. I like this shampoo because it has protein which is good for hair growth.
I then rinse it with warm water.
After washing my hair I apply Tresemme conditioner While hair is wet. I leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. The one I use normally is called the Moisture rich its for dry hair, it adds moisture and also contains vitamin E which is good for hair growth.
The second one is called the Volume and lift. It gives hair volume and lift. I normally use this one when I do my protein treatment as it contains silk protein. I dont want to put too much protein on my hair as too much protein is not good for hair but i really love the Tresemme conditioners they leave your hair feeling soft and healthy and they stop breakage.
After conditioning my hair, I then wash it with cold water and then dry it with a towel. I am avoiding heat on my hair as it breaks and thins the hair. I have been without heat for about 5 months. So i simply wrap it with a towel until its damp. I then apply my leave in treatment by avon, the morrocan argan oil. I then leave it to air dry.
Once it is thoroughly dry I apply my Smooth and Shine oil moisturiser or detangling lotion.
And seal it with my Caival fusion oil.
Thats my ordinary wash day.

Silk and Satin scarf an absolute must
Hello everyone
Well you must be wondering what is so special about getting silk or satin bonnets as opposed to wool and cotton bonnets.
Wool hats or bonnets can cause breakage over time when used
regularly. This is because they draw moisture away from the hair,
leaving hair brittle and susceptible to breakage. In addition, they
cause friction that can break your hair off in spots, so you must use
proactive measures in order to assure that your hair remains healthy,
moisturized and in tact.
Use preventative measures to keep hair resistant
to breaking off from wool or dryness. Since hair can easily dry out over
the winter and wool pulls additional moisture away, it is best to
moisturize regularly.
Line your hat with silk or satin to keep your hair
protected from the harm that wool can cause that may lead to breakage.
Its also advisable to try and get satin or silk pillows to protect your hair at night in addition to the bonnet.
Now I usuallu like to save money, so I kinda mostly buy my stuff when they are on sale. It is so nice to buy expensive things at a low price, hehehe. Anyway i bought satin and silk material from a material shop, 1 meter cost me less than 30 rands(3-4dollars)
I made my own bonnet and my own pillows.
In conclusion if you are on a hair journey. Avoid wool hats, cotton bonnets etc and start investing in silk and satin.
Hope this article has been helpful and informative

Review on the Avon Advance Morrocan Argan oil
I have recenlly purchased the leave in treatment. The morrocan argan oil from avon and I must say, IAm quite impresses. I used it yesterday for the first time and my hair felt so soft and immediately had so much body, it smells good too. Even though its an oil, it doesnt leave your hair looking oily yet if you run your fingers through your hair it is moistured and not dry. I promise these results are true and I was so skeptical after buying it because i read some reviews on it and some were negative stating that the amount of argan oil in this is so little and I agree it is little as it is not within the first four ingredients if you see inserted picture,so it certainly cannot be much but the products in it work together to make your hair feeling soft and healthy.
I would recommend this to anyone.
I was fortunate to get it for 44 rands and i believe the normal price is usually 89 rands.
So am definately going to be looking out for more specials on this product by the grace of God.
Hope this article has been helpful and if you have anything to add whether you agree or disagree please add a coment below

Broccoli good for hair growth
Hi people
As you know eating healthy is part of growing healthy. beautiful hair.
So below I have inserted a picture of some benefits of broccoli. Now I admit broccoli may not be that delicious especially if you are not into veggies but it has really great benefits, so try it and live a healthy life with beautiful hair.
These are some of the benefits of broccoli but theres more.
Broccoli contains vitamin A, vitamin C and calcium which promote hair growth. Vitamins A and C stimulate the production of sebum, an oil based secretion that acts as a natural moisturiser and conditioner for scalp and hair whereas calcium strengthens the hair follicles.
It combats hair loss hair loss. The antioxidants in broccoli seed oil, particularly vitamin C prevent hair loss by eliminating the free radicals, thus contributing to healthier and thicker hair.
Now with all these wonderful benefits. Are you now going to eat your veggies including broccoli.
Hope you enjoyed this article and it has been helpful

Caivil oil-Must buy oil
Hi people
I just want to share with you a nice hair oil I recently came across. Its so good and it consists of so many oils which are etremely good for hair growth and good strong hair.
I have inserted a picture below to show you how it looks. Its about 31 rands at stores like clicks, jumbo. Really affordable..
Coconut oil- It consists of more than 90% of saturated vitamin E and vitamin K and minerals such as iron. It is an excellent conditioner and helps in the re growth of damaged hair. Also provides the essential proteins required for nourishing damaged hair and it softens the hair and conditions the scalp.
Argan oil- Conditions hair, moisurises scalp and gives shine and volume to hair.
Olive oil- Helps prevents hair loss. It prevents the production of the hormones DTH which causes the hair follicle shaft to decrease.
Peppermint oil- Helps to stimulate blood flow to the root of the hair. It helps hair to receive proper nourishment. This will lead to hair growth. That tingy feeling when peppermint oil is felt on the scalp is actually the stimulation of blood flow to the hair.
Avocado oil- It is full of vitamins that your hair needs like vitamin A,E,D and potassium. If you want super deep conditioner treatment without having to buy a commercial preparation. You can add avocado with other carrier oils and you definately feel and see the difference.
Rosemary oil- Is useful for dandruff problems and flacky itchy scalp. Rosemary oil stimulates the hair follicle, as a result it grows hair and makes it stronger and longer.
Lavender oil- Is a good treatment for dandruff and itchy scalp to help n control hair breakage and breakage and improving hair growth. It can treat alopecia areata, a condition where you lose excessive hair even in patches. Daily massage with lavender oil has proven to help significant re growth and gives results in a few months. Lavender blends well with other essential oils including jojoba, rosemary and tea tree oils.
Neem oil-Increase hair growth and improves quality of hair at the same time. Removes split ends and offers deep moisturisation. It repairs damaged hair cuticles and hence makes hair managable. It is a natural cure for dandruff and dry scalp.
Tea trea- Prevents hair loss. Helps to keep scalp free of bacteria and anti fungal problems.Tea tree unblocks the sebaceous gland and encourage the blood flow of the scalp's own moisturizing oils while clearing away dead cells.
Wheat oil- Increases lost moisture to the hair while adding shine, strength and softness.
Vegetable oil- Cleanses tiny dust particles that are responsible for dandruff, dry scalp irritation and even some kind of hair loss.
So as you can see this is a great buy. All these wonderful oils found in just one bottle. Its definately convinient for me and am currently stocking up on it as its so good for my hair.

Hot oil treat ment
Hi people
Hot oil treatment is very good for your hair. It grows your hair, keeps it strong and healthy.
I am just going to share the methods I use to do a hot oil treatment.
Firstly you need to mix your oils to a bottle. So I use a variety of oils like, castor oil, tea tree, neem oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, almond oil, mustard oil, coconut oil.
Note thay there are ready made hot oil treatments that you can get at stores. However it is much better and more affordable to buy different oils and do it yourself at home as you can also use it for everyday use as sealers.
But for the hot oil treatment you can use any of these oil, not neccessarily all, so i normally use castor oil, 1 drop of tea tree, neem oil and some olive oil.Mix it in one bottle and warm the oils.
Ensure that the hair is slightly damp
Apply on hair, and gently massage into hair for atleast 1 minute or two. Heat up a towel or microwave it
Then wrap on hair, and use a scarf over it. I use up to 3 hair scarves. The hotter, the better.
Stay with it for about 45 min to an hour. Then wash, condition and while hair is damp, try to use a leave in conditioner and when the hair is properly dry, you can apply oil moist and seal it with any oil
This hot oil treatment needs to be done once every week.
Enjoy

How to do a dry perm at home
Hello everyone
Doing protective hair styles is important while growing your hair. Dry perm is also a nice protective hairstyle you can have for any occasion. It can be for the office, going out, etc.
So the easiest way to do a perm without having to put those annoying perm rolls on your hair and staying under a dryier for an hour or more. You simply twist you hair into a bantu knot as you can see above and use plastic bands to secure it. I normally stay with it for maybe a week because i enjoy the bantu knotts style as well and then open it into the perm, but a day or two is sufficient if your aim is just curls. Once open you can spray it and comb it out as per your desire. I normally just put some shea butter on my scalp and through the hair to give it a little shine.

Keep the faith
Hello everyone
Just wanted to encourage you ladies out there who are on a hair journey. Its very easy to get discouraged when after a week or so you check your hair length and find that it has not grown. I also had that problem where i wanted overnight results and would quickly give up on a product if no changes after a few days. Patience is vital. It may be useful to know that hair grows by 0.5 inch per month, so anything above that is a bonus, so please do not give up after a few weeks. Keep doing the same things as mentioned in my previous posts but first and foremost pray over your hair, with just little faith you can move a mountain, imagine how much your faith can grow your hair.
There are many methods to increase the growth of the hair up to 2 inches a month or even more. You need to stick to your daily methods and try not to miss a day, also try and do inversion method. It can grow your hair up to one inch in just one week. Eat healthly, drink lots of water. There are foods that are rich in biotin which helps grows hair, eg eggs, chicken livers and many more. I will try to write an article based on foods that are high in biotin.

Hair Calender
Hello everyone
First thing before you start a hair journey. You need to get a hair calender. Its so convenient and easy when you document everything you do, so thay you know what to do on which day or which week. My calender consists of all the activities I do with regards to my hair.
So I will give you tips on what one should actually put on your calender to help you grow long and beautiful hair.
You need to do a protein treatment on your hair once a month. You can buy it or make one at home. I will post the recipe soon. I recently bought a treseme karaten protein treatment . Works great.
You need to do an inversion method for one week in a month so thats seven days in a month.
You need to do a hot oil treatment on your hair once every week. You can buy an already made pack or make one at home. I will also post some home made recipes regarding this.
You need to deep condition your hair once every week. I currently use dark and lovely, but a home made recipe will be posted soon.
You need to apply oil moistiriser and spray some water and then seal it with oil, like castor oil.
You need to keep your hair in a protective hairstyle like plait it or bantu knotts, or buns.
When you sleep always use satin or silk scarf or hat as wool breaks the hair
Relax atleast ever 8 weeks.
When you wash your hair with shampoo, try to condition it afterwards. I use Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. Works great.
If you take vitamins, then take one daily with lots of water.
I hope this article will help many women out there. If you on a hair journey, please do the above without missing a day if you want to see good results.
Also please dont expect ovenight results. Be patient. Love is patient..1 Cor 13v1

Castor Oil sooo good for hair
Castor is one of the best oils for hair growth so I have experienced. It stimulates healthy hair follicle which results in faster hair growth. I was so skeptical at first when I heard castor oil can be used for hair because my memories of castor oil were not good because when i was young my mommmy use to make me drink it so I was so not eager to utelise it in any way, but i needed to grow my hair so I tried it and my experience has been great.. Yes it smells funny but when you see the results, you just get used to it. You can mix it with other oils like jojoba oil, olive oil, tea trea oil. Its so good it can be even used on just its own.
After just one full month of using castor oil night and day to seal I noticed my hair was growing healthier and thicker than normal.
If your hair is thin, not growing, breaking, trust me castor oil will resolve that issue.
If your hair is thin, not growing, breaking, trust me castor oil will resolve that issue.
My day to day moisture goes as follows, in the morning I would apply oil moisturiser and then seal it with castor oil at night I did the same. Note that i now have so many products so i sort of use a lot but will update you on exactly which products work best for me. I began with castor oil and still to this point use it as its so good but because castor oil is such a thick oil it may cause build up so you need to ensure you wash your hair atleast twice a week. It is important to keep your scalp clean so the hair can grow, hair will not grow on a dirty scalp.
I have more tips on more hair products and will be posting soon..

Drink Water Water and more Water
As you know keeping a healthy diet equals to healthy strong hair and that is what we want.
In your daily food intake you should try to include vegetables, fruits and water. One should atleast drink 2lt of water a day.
I particularly find it hard to drink water unless i am thirsty and sometimes i just am not. So the easiest way I have found is I keep a 750ml bottle of water. I drink it in the morning after i have eaten my breakfast and take my vitamins.Once im done with that bottle it makes it easier during the day to fill it up and drink water and because i feel like i have achieved a goal. So I urge you all to drink a lot of water daily for good, strong, healthy and lovely hair.
You can do it, you can do all things.
