Hello everyone
Hope all is well.
Just wanted to share my hair growth update after 10 months
Thank God the progress is good. Every inch counts.
Am still following the same regime. Castor oil is the main oil I use and because it is Summer now. I only apply the oils once a day and wash my hair twice a week . I first apply oil moisturiser and then seal it with castor oil. And drink 2 litres of water a day.
I wash hair with Tresemme shampoo followed with Tresemme conditioner on the other day I deep condition my hair with the dark and lovely deep conditioner.
Also I still stick to my protective hair styles. Staying away from heat.
Hope this information has been helpful.

Suppliments you can take for hair growth
Hi everyone
Its been a while. I hope everyones hair journey is going well.
I just want to share some information about suppliments that can assist in growth of hair.
So most people take hair, skin and nails but its important to check the amount of ingredients
Its best to get get one with the most amount of biotin.
Below are some ingredients you find in these suppliments and the benefits.
Biotin
Biotin promotes healthy hair growth and protects against dryness. Increases the elasticity of the hair's cortex, thus preventing breakage. Helps produce keratin that prevents hair loss. You can also get these benefits by ingesting foods that contains biotin. Get that plate and feast on lentils, peas, brown rice, walnuts and peas.
Folic Acid
Folic acid is a vitamin that boasts being water-soluble. So Vitamin B6 and folic are very beneficial to your natural hair. These vitamins are also helpful in helping build up red blood cells and doing healthy road maintenance of your central nervous system. Folic acid is a tough cookie when it comes to helping replace the raggedy, old, cells of your body with fresh new ones. This quality, of being a multi-tasker, is what makes folic acid powerful in working on different structures like your tissues and organs – including hair. You can prowl the food market to get folic in those oranges, soybeans and your leafy greens.
Vitamin C
If you want to help that blood circulation on your scalp, you should spoil your head with daily massages. You should also get on your vitamin C. It works on circulation and circulation works on prevention of baldness. If you want to digest vitamin C in nature, find it in: guava, lemons, strawberry, raspberry, broccoli, grapefruit, cabbages, oranges, cauliflower and tomatoe.
Vitamin E
The body takes on oxygen and vitamin E helps boost that intake. This boosting makes for great blood circulation. You’ve probably heard a little bird whisper about vitamin E being an immune booster. A great immune system means your body is able to focus on hair growth as opposed to focusing to fight the disease!
Zinc and Magnesium
Magnesium and zinc work like two great partners in goodness. They also add onto your immunity and thus promote hair growth. If you went to shop for groceries you would want to load your cart with nuts, legumes, yogurt, whole grains, spinach, beans, peas.

Protective hairstyles
Hi everyone
Today would just like to give advise on the type of protective hairstyles you can do this winter.
Protective styling is a very important aspect of a hair regimen. It is one of the best ways to minimise breakage because it protects the ends of hair which is where a lot of damage occurs.
A protective style is a hair style that protects hair ends from everyday exposure to the sun, wind etc. A protective style should not require heat or too much combing or pulling. It should keep hair ends/tips off the shoulders. This basically means that the ends of the hair, which are the oldest and weakest parts of our hair, should be tucked away or hidden to prevent it from getting dry by exposure to the sun and wind, or from getting damaged from rubbing on your shoulders.
I try and do my own styles to avoid any pulling . Its nothing fancy, i normally use yarn in a form of braids, or bantu knotts or even basic plaits.
Here are some of the protective styles you can try
Some examples of protective styles are:
1) Buns
This is one of the most popular protective styles. It is popular with ladies on a hair journey because it is very easy to create and effectively protects the ends of the hair.
To avoid causing damage when wearing a bun don’t pack your hair too tightly and don’t pack it in the same spot every time as this will create too much tension on that spot.
2) Up-dos
Aside from buns there are many updo hairstyles which can be protective and stylish.
The aim is to create the style with minimal brushing and combing. The style should keep the ends of the hair hidden and the length of the hair should be kept off your shoulders.
The style should be easy to preserve so that it does not need to be redone every day. It can simply be tidied in the mornings and redone after 2/3 days

The inversion method for hair growth is simply turning your head upside down for up to 4 minutes for seven consecutive days, accompanied with a scalp massage using your favourite oils. I do it normally when i am applying my castor oil. I do it once monthly for seven days. It really can grow 1 inch of hair in a week. Its so amazing you got to try it.

Cholesterol hair treatment- dark and lovely
Cholesterol Hair Treatment – What Is It & What Are Its Benefits?
I have recently bought the Dark and lovely Cholesterol Treatment and I have only used it once and have on my braid so I dont have much of a review except it feels good but not too thick, its sort of like the Dark and lovely Amla deep treatment in terms of the texture.
But I took the liberty of doing some research on it.
Cholesterol treatment for hair helps in repairing and restoring moisture in damaged and dehydrated hair. This treatment has been used by American and African communities for decades to restore softness and moisture after repeated styling processes
Cholesterol Deep Conditioning Treatment
Cholesterol deep conditioning is the most widely used hair treatment by hair professionals. Let it stay for approximately 15 minutes or so covered with a plastic cap. Afterwards, you can wrap your head with a warm towel or sit under a hooded dryer. If your hair is severely damaged then you can leave the conditioner for about an hour. Some of the cholesterol deep conditioning treatments have olive oil in them or if you want better results, you can always add a little amount of olive oil. It has been reported that this treatment makes the hair silky smooth.
Cholesterol hair treatment is meant for external use only. Consuming foods that has high amount of cholesterol will not help you get the same results when applied directly on the hair. In fact, your blood cholesterol level might rise if you consume such foods. These may have adverse effects on your health and can lead to severe heart conditions. So you can actually avoid consuming high-cholesterol foods. Try following these treatments to get beautiful, smooth, soft, shiny and silky hair.

Lose weight in 3 days..Yes its true
Hello Hello everyone
It has been a while. Hope the hair journey is going well.
Anyway i have a very good diet plan if anyone is willing to try. Remember eating healthy is a benefit for growing healthy hair. I tried this diet and it really works. I lost 4 kgs in 3 days.
I saw this diet online, its called the militrary diet. Its so good because you do not even feel that hungry during the day. And theres a nice dessert at the end of the day which is a treat. I did not do much exercise during this 3 day diet, just 10 to 15 minute walk or some 10 minute cardio workout but not too hectic, infact the first day i did no workout at all.
The dinner is rather large so if you feel hungry u can eat some dinner early maybe at four and eat the rest maybe at 6 or 7, but its important to finish your meals because the set out portions work together to produce these remarkable results...
So heres the diet
Militrary diet
Day 1
Breakfast= black cofee, or tea- no sugar, grape fruit,2 spoons peanut butter, 1 toasted whole wheat bread
Lunch: black coffee or tea- no sugar, toasted whole wheat bread and half cup of tuna
Dinner: 1 (250ml) cup of green beans, 1 cup of beetroot, meat any kind, 3 ouches, 1 fruit, 1 cup vanilla ice cream
Day 2
Breakfast: 1 egg, half a banana, 1 toasted whole wheat bread and black cofee or tea- no sugar
Lunch: 1 cup of cottage cheese and 5 salted crackers
Dinner: 2 hot dogs (viennas), 1 cup of broccoli, half cup of carrot, water, half cup ice cream, 1 fruit
Day 3
Breakfast: 1 cheddar cheese, 5 salt crakers, fruit and black coffee or tea -no sugar
Lunch:1 boiled egg and toasted bread and water
Dinner: 1 cup of tuna, 1 cup of cauliflower, 1 cup of beetroot,1 fruit, half cup of ice cream
And 8 glasses of water everyday..water actually keeps you full and helps you throughout the day if you feeling hungry.
So go ahead try it and follow all the instructiona and you wont be dissapointed.
